AT&T-Time Warner Seal Set For Regulatory Scrutiny


Professor Mark Patterson was quoted in a Financial Times article about the recent $85 billion merger of AT&T and Time Warner and its implications for U.S. regulators.


New digital services have reduced the power of internet gatekeepers among the national broadband networks, according to Mark Patterson, a Fordham University law professor. “It is not very clear any longer how market power should be measured,” he says. “We may need new methods to evaluate mergers like this one.”
