Leslie D. Corwin ’73 is a partner of Blank Rome LLP and will participate in the Aspen Institute’s 2017 Justice & Society Seminar. This annual seminar, co-founder by the late Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, is comprised of 20 participants per year, by invitation only.

Paul Pollock ’85 has been honored with the 2016 Cornerstone Award from the Lawyers Alliance for New York which honors outstanding pro bono legal services to nonprofits. He is currently a partner at Crowell & Moring LLP specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters.

Charles W. Pieterse ’86 of the firm Whitman Breed is named one of Connecticut’s Litigation Departments of the Year.

Jay Sullivan ’89 published the book Communicating Better at Work and Beyond.

Margot Carter ’92 has been named to the Board of Directors at Freeman, the world’s leading provider of brand experiences.

Scott Mozarsky ’93 has been named President of Bloomberg BNA’s Legal Division, where he will be responsible for driving the growth of the company’s legal products. He has been with Bloomberg since 2014, when he was a leading force behind the creation of the Cross Platform Division.

Andrew M. Walsh ’98 has been promoted to shareholder at Anderson Kill, PC. Mr. Walsh joined Anderson Kill in September 2011 and advises entrepreneurs, emerging companies, family offices and private equity investors with respect to mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, shareholder arrangements and corporate governance.

Brian Heller ’01 was named partner at Schwartz Perry & Heller LLP.

Melissa Brown ’03 made ALM’s Legal Intelligencer list of Top Women in Law for Pennsylvania.

Megan R. Worrell ’03 has received the Margery Reed Professional Excellence Award from the Duane Morris Women’s Impact Network for Success (WINS). The award recognizes contributions toward creating, modeling and mentoring others regarding issues of work-life management. She is currently a partner in Duane Morris’ New York office.

Devon Lash ’05 has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as an associate in New York City.

Jeremy Smith ’06 married Billy Clark Taylor on October 16th, 2016 at the 3 West Club in New York City. The couple met in New York in 2007 through mutual friends.

Anthony J. Distinti ’07 has been honored with the 2016 Cornerstone Award from the Lawyers Alliance for New York which honors outstanding pro bono legal services to nonprofits. He is currently a tax associate at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.

Tiffany Evans ’07 has been selected as a Rising Star by the YWCA Academy of Career Women of Achievement.

Michael Masri ’07 was elected to Partner at Chadbourne & Parke LLP

Andrew N. Weisberg ’08 has been elected to Partner at White & Case LLP in the firm’s Global Capital Markets Practice. Based in New York, he focuses on public and private capital markets transactions, including high-yield and investment-grade bond offerings, leveraged financings, equity offerings and liability management transactions.

Ernestine Mings ’10 has joined Blank Rome LLP as an Associate in the Matrimonial and Family Law group in New York.

Mollie Townsend ’11 married Nathan Kugler on June 4, 2016 at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee

Daniel Tyrrell ’11 married Erin Ward on October 1st, 2016 at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in Manhattan. The couple met through mutual friends when they were in high school, but only began dating until 2012.

Jessica Ellyn Berkey ’12 and Adam Brett Saks were married on November 12, 2013 at Guastavino’s in New York City.

Michael S. Cromer ’12 married Hannah Jewel Edelman on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the One Hotel in Miami Beach. Cromer is currently an Associate at Alston & Bird LLP.

Linda Wang ’12 and William Joseph Readey IV were married November 11, 2016 in Rye, N.Y.

Anthony V. Finizio ’14 married Christina Abruzzo on October 15th, 2016 at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Summit, New Jersey. The couple met at Lafayette College, from which they graduated.

Brian Pugh ’15 has retained his incumbent seat on the Croton Village Board of Trustees in New York. Prior to his election to the Village Board in 2014, Pugh helped lead a successful 2011 campaign to move village’s elections from March to November to increase turnout and save taxpayer dollars.

Michael Garza ’15 has joined White & Case LLP as an associate in their Financial Restructuring & Insolvency group after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Brendan L. Shannon in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Jane White ’16 has joined Jones Walker LLP in the in the firm’s Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group in New Orleans.

Bronwyn Roantree ’18 married Larry Bull on October 22nd, 2016 at the Orient Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, in Orient, N.Y. The couple was introduced in 2004 by mutual friends in a theater lobby when Bronwyn went to see an Off Broadway play in which he was appearing.
