    Peter L. Curry ’78 has been named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list.

    Tracey J. Niemotko ’82 has been elected to serve on the board of trustees for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Foundation.

    George A. Reilly ’84 has joined Rucci Law Group. 

    Brandy Bergman ’92, Hugh Burns ’92, and Paul Caminiti ’92 have launched Reevemark LLC, a strategic communications advisory firm. Read more.

    Matthew H. Meade ’92 has joined Eckert Seaman’s Pittsburgh data security and privacy group.

    David Javdan ’93 welcomed a baby boy, Chase Alexander.

    Christopher Loeber ’94 has joined Pryor Cashman to lead the newly created Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice.

    Brian Nurse ’96 has been named WWE’s senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary.

    Eric W. Penzer ’96 has been named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list.

    Samantha Kearns Vaughan ’96 has been named group vice president, corporate compliance, and chief privacy officer by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc.

    Lawrence Metz ’97 has been appointed president and chief executive officer at Maiden Holdings Ltd.

    Keaton Parekh ’97 has been appointed president and chief executive officer of WiLAN.

    Khadijah Sharif-Drinkard ’97 has been honored with the 2018 Corporate Counsel of the Year Award by the Muslim Bar Association of New York.

    David L. Pieterse ’99 has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for 2019 in the categories of Litigation – Construction and Real Estate Law.

    Justin Klein ’03 has joined Ice Miller LLP as a partner in the firm’s Litigation group.

    Eleanor Lackman ’03 has been named by Super Lawyers as one of the top 100 lawyers in the New York Metro area, and one of the top 50 women lawyers in the area. 

    Amy Martella ’07 and Seth Piken ’07 welcomed a newborn son, Seth.

    Nikos Valance ’10 has become director of the Criminal/Restorative Justice Program and visiting professor at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut. He has also been working with the legal department of the MHA Nation to set up a Restorative Justice pilot program in the tribe’s court system.

    Alessandra Biaggi ’12 defeated Senator Jeffrey D. Klein, the head of the I.D.C., in the New York state legislative race. Read more.

    Matthew Sheehan ’12 and Kelley Marie Vaughan were married on September 22.

    Matthew Garber ’18 has been appointed to assistant district attorney.

    Joshua J. Garland ’18 has been appointed to assistant district attorney.

    Victoria LaGreca ’18 has been appointed to assistant district attorney.

    Gregory O’Brien ’18 has joined the New York State Law Department as a family court attorney.

    Bronwyn C. Roantree ’18 welcomed a baby boy, Jasper.

    Jacob Samuels-Kalow ’18 has joined the New York State Law Department as a family court attorney.

    Fordham Law Professor Tanya Katerí Hernández has recently published Multiracials and Civil Rights: Mixed-Race Stories of Discrimination, which discusses the question of racial discrimination experienced by multiracial people and if it’s fundamentally different from the racial discrimination experienced by minorities who identify with a single race.     Fordham Law School Visiting Professor Corey Brettschneider has written a new book, The Oath and the Office: A Guide to the Constitution for Future Presidents, which examines the powers of the president, the meaning of “We the People” and the Bill of Rights, and checks on the president designed to educate seekers of the nation’s highest political office and average citizens alike.
