Fordham Law students Simone Park and David Yearwood were among the three recipients of the 10th Annual Diversity Scholarship presented by law firm Arent Fox. The scholarship includes a $15,000 stipend for both Park and Yearwood, who will be working as summer associates in New York and Los Angeles, respectively.

The financial award is given annually to three first-year minority law students who demonstrate a commitment to practicing law at the highest level. Fifteen percent of Arent Fox employees are minorities, which exceeds the national firm average of 12 percent. Since the 2006 inception of the scholarship program, law students of color and LGBT students have composed 50 percent of Arent Fox’s summer associate program.
