    Same-Sex Marriage Gets Boost After High Court Inaction

    Fordham Law School Professor Elizabeth Cooper spoke to Law360 about why the Supreme Court’s inaction means a boost for marriage equality.

    Monday’s denial of review allows marriages to proceed in the states where the ban had been challenged, a move that is “in essence indicating that the court doesn’t feel the need to step in and stop that from happening,” Fordham University law professor Elizabeth Cooper noted.

    “I expect that we will see couples marrying in all the states within all of these circuits shortly,” Cooper said.
