The Thirteenth Annual Fordham Law Summer Institute in New York City is taking place from July 8 – 26. This year’s program has 75 participants from some 17 countries around the globe.
The Summer Institute begins with an introduction to the U.S. Legal System and offers a survey of the areas of law most important for global attorneys in the 21st Century – from International Arbitration to Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law to Corporations and Mergers & Acquisitions. The program also offers Legal English seminars and special sessions on applying to and preparing for U.S. LL.M. programs. Also included are a visit to the United States Bankruptcy Court, a tour of the United Nations, and a briefing at the multinational law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. The program ends with a celebratory luncheon at which certificates of completion are awarded to program participants.
