Veteran Rights Project
The Feerick Center for Social Justice welcomes alumni to volunteer with our Veteran Rights Project to conduct virtual know-your-rights presentations (training available) and provide legal information and assistance to low-income veterans on civil issues. In honor of Veterans Day, we will host virtual legal clinics to serve veterans in need of civil legal assistance. We welcome pro bono assistance from alumni for these clinics.

Covid Response Project and LawNY Program
The Feerick Center’s Covid Response Project (CRP) and Legal Assistance of Western New York, Inc. (LawNY) have launched a new pilot program to provide virtual legal services for low-income seniors in remote and upstate New York communities who need assistance with end-of-life planning. LawNY will provide training and supervision to all volunteers; prior knowledge or experience in trust and estates issues is not required. If you are interested in this opportunity, please attend the CLE training.
