The Fordham Urban Law Center is partnering with TU Berlin, a well-known university in Germany, to host the Seventh Annual International and Comparative Urban Law Conference.  The Conference will be held from Thursday, July 15th through Saturday, July 17th, 2021, virtually and in person at TU Berlin. Since 2014, this annual Conference has welcomed leading urban legal scholars from around the globe to present their research and works in progress. Now in its seventh year, the Conference builds on this tradition, providing a dynamic forum to share diverse international, comparative, and interdisciplinary perspectives on the intersection of cities and law.

Conference registration isn’t open to the general public. Please direct any questions about the conference to
    [email protected].

As cities remain at the forefront of global change, the Center has also launched the Association of Urban Legal Scholars (AULS – https://www.auls.net/).  The new organization provides an engaging platform for researchers from law and other disciplines to share their mutual exploration of urban phenomena and the legal system. By sharing research, pedagogical resources, scholarly events, and other items of mutual interest, AULS has the opportunity to elevate urban law as a mission-oriented discipline that can effectively address the most pressing challenges facing twenty-first-century cities.

Membership in AULS is free and may be obtained by sending a brief email of interest containing your name, professional title and affiliation, and a link to a professional profile to
    [email protected].
