    Judge Denny Chin Serving as Fordham Law’s First Lawrence W. Pierce Distinguished Jurist in Residence

    New York Law Journal profiled Judge Denny Chin ’78 of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, who has been named Fordham Law’s Lawrence W. Pierce ’51 Distinguished Jurist in Residence.

    As Fordham University School of Law’s inaugural Lawrence W. Pierce Distinguished Jurist in Residence, Judge Denny Chin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit says he will focus more of his time on teaching and working one-on-one with students.

    …

    “I look forward to spending more time with colleagues on the faculty and having more time to reflect on various matters in the law,” Chin said in a statement issued by Fordham Law. “I’m also looking forward to interacting more with students at the Law School, for the chance to speak with them more informally, outside the classroom.”
