Fordham Law School will offer its Structural Issues in Law Firm Management program this winter in collaboration with leading Brazilian law firm Mattos Filho. The program brings together leading law firm partners, business services professionals, and in-house lawyers so that participants can learn about law firm management strategies and best practices. This is the third time the school is working with the firm to offer the program. The first successful incarnation kicked off in February 2021.

The program is open to all, but is most highly recommended for senior associates, counsel, partners, and non-lawyer leaders at law firms. Sessions will be held online on Fridays from January 27 through May 5 at 9:00–10:00 a.m. EST. This year, contingent on public health developments, the program will host an optional in-person colloquium in New York City on May 11 and 12. Program and registration information can be found on the program’s webpage.

“Fordham Law School is thrilled continue our Structural Issues in Law Firm Management program for a third year,” said Toni Jaeger-Fine, senior counselor at Fordham Law School and program co-director. “Each year, we continue to refine our topics and add new speakers to remain on the cutting edge of issues affecting law firms today. We are enormously proud of this program, and especially of our partnership with the powerhouse law firm Mattos Filho.”

The program opens with the José Eduardo Carneiro Queiroz Memorial Lecture, which will be delivered by Francesca L. Odell, a partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. Andrew Bonzani, executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Interpublic Group of Companies, will deliver the closing keynote on May 12.

The program faculty consists of leading attorneys from top law firms and companies, as well as C-suite executives in law firms, who will cover the following topics:
