Are You Ready to Support Fordham Law and #RaiseTheBar on Giving Day?

Every year, members of the Fordham Law community come together on Giving Day to pledge their philanthropic support for the Law School. This year’s 24-hour fundraising marathon takes place today, Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Since its inception in 2017, Giving Day has raised over $1.3 million, directly impacting Fordham Law’s students and addressing the School’s most pressing priorities.

This year, your gift can double its impact. Fordham Law alumna Stacey Rappaport ’96 has pledged to match up to $80,000 in gifts made to Fordham Law School.

“Giving Day is a testament to the incredible generosity and commitment of the Fordham Law community. Every gift helps open doors for our students, strengthens our programs, and expands our impact in the legal profession and beyond. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who joins us in this effort to support the next generation of Fordham lawyers.” – Dean Joseph Landau

Every contribution made to an area of the Law School moves Fordham closer to its Giving Day goal. Your support today has the power to create a meaningful impact and ensure that law students receive a one-of-a-kind legal education, rooted in the tradition of law “In the service of others.”

Here’s how you can make an impact and support Fordham Law on Giving Day:

Make a gift today: Help #RaisetheBar by visiting Fordham Law’s Giving Day website to make your one-time gift, recurring gift, or pledge quickly and securely.

Show your support on social media: Connect with Fordham Law on Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, and post about Giving Day on your social media platforms to challenge and inspire your Fordham Law network to participate. Fordham Law has also created a toolkit to help you share your story and dedication to the Law School on social media.

Submit a matching gift request: Contact the Law School’s Development Office at lawdevelopment@fordham.edu or 212-636-6529 to explore how to show your support and inspire others.
