    George Maniatis ’81 joined the partnership at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby, LLP, at the firm’s Long Island office. Maniatis focuses his practice on insurance coverage litigation, reinsurance disputes, and liability defense.

    Hon. Robert Ostrov ’89 was appointed to serve as a judge on the Hendry County Court in Florida. Judge Ostrov formerly served as a general magistrate for the 20th Judicial Circuit since 2018 and has been the managing partner of the Law Offices of Robert L. Ostrov since 2007.

    James Rizzo ’90 joined Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, as a managing director in the partner practice group at the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

    David Hillman ’94 joined iHeartMedia, Inc. as the company’s executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary.

    Professor William Jannace ’96 participated in a webcast with Joshua Lipsky, chair of international economics at the Atlantic Council, that was sponsored by Fordham’s Corporate Law Center. The webcast focused on the “6th Domain of Warfare: The Role of the Private Sector in Geopolitical Conflict (LinkedIn Link here). Professor Jannace also conducted a training program on virtual assets and money laundering and sanctions compliance for a group of Pacific Island nations. The program was sponsored by the Financial Services Volunteer Corps and the U.S. State Department.

    Joseph Gambino ’99 joined the partnership at Schulte, Roth & Zabel, LLP.

    Philip Pfeffer ’00 joined Jones Day as a partner in the firm’s Business & Tort Litigation Practice, based in the New York office.

    Michael Timpone ’00 joined the partnership at Holland & Knight LLP and will serve as co-chair of the firm’s Maritime Industry Team.

    Rosevelie Márquez-Morales ’02 was named to City & State New York‘s 2025 “Law Power 100” list.

    Michele Navazio ’03 joined the partnership at Haynes Boone, serving as co-chair to the firm’s derivatives practice group.

    Lisa Lupion ’06 was appointed to Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP’s management committee.

    Jennifer Roselius ’06 joined Adams & Reese LLP as counsel in the firm’s corporate services practice group.

    Amanda Houle ’09 was appointed as chief of the criminal division for the United States Attorney Southern District of New York Office.

    Leo Muchnik ’12 was recognized as a 2025 Secured Finance Network “40 Under 40” honoree.

    Eric Lin ’14 spoke on the “Patents & AI: A Global Perspective” panel at the 32nd Annual Fordham IP and Policy Conference organized by the Emily C. and John E. Hansen IP Institute at Fordham Law School.

    Hinako Gojima ’16 began a new position as a staff attorney at New York Legal Assistance Group.

    Samuel James ’16 joined the partnership at McCarter & English LLP.

    Kai Reevey ’17 was promoted to vice president and counsel at WME | William Morris Endeavor.

    Princess Uchekwe ’17 launched The Chief Counsel, a fractional general counsel firm for startups and emerging companies.

    Khasim Lockhart ’18 moderated and presented on legal ethics and artificial intelligence at this year’s Game Developers Conference.

    Sabih Siddiqi ’18 became the founder and CEO of IQIDIS, INC, an AI‑powered legal platform created by practicing attorneys.

    Yeilee Woo ’18 began a new position as an associate at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo LLP.
