Deborah Denno quoted in the New York Daily News about a report acknowledging that the IV used to administer a lethal injection to Oklahoma death row inmate Clayton Lockett during a recent botched execution was badly placed and not properly monitored.
“It is extraordinary that after 32 years of state-sponsored lethal injection executions, departments of corrections have seemingly become even less adept at performing them adequately,” said Deborah Denno, professor of law at Fordham University.
