Fordham Law School Professor Deborah Denno, a leading death penalty expert, spoke to The Wall Street Journal about how the Supreme Court’s upcoming Glossip v. Gross ruling could impact executions in states that use midazolam and those that don’t.
“You’d likely see arguments that other drugs look and act like like midazolam,” she said. “That could make it even harder for states to carry out executions.”
