Professor Howard Erichson appeared on Korean TV network OBS Gyeongin TV to speak about the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.
“[A]fter 9/11 there was a cloud of debris and dust and it had toxic chemicals and asbestos in it,” Erichson said. “So people who lived there and worked there and the people who were doing clean up at the World Trade Center site breathed all of this horrible air and got diseases like asthma and lung diseases and cancer and some of them broke bones or had back injuries and so forth from the work they were doing.”
