Fordham Law alumnus Brian M. Seymour ’97, attorney and shareholder at Gunster (one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms), has been appointed to the board of directors of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, according to a press release by Gunster.
Seymour co-chairs Gunster’s real property law practice. He represents clients throughout Florida who need experienced land use and property rights counsel.
Seymour filled an at-large seat on the board. His appointment is effective Oct. 1, 2016, for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.

Seymour represents land owners and developers in matters of land use, zoning, comprehensive planning and environmental resource permitting, as well as eminent domain, land use and constitutional property rights litigation. He understands the role of the political process in land use decisions, regularly balancing legal rights and political realities in advising clients on how to achieve their goals in ways that makes business sense.
