The Feerick Center for Social Justice is seeking volunteers for a number of their programs! Opportunities include:
- The Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island CLARO Programs, where volunteer attorneys provide limited-scope legal advice and assistance to New Yorkers in need at court-based clinics;
- The LEEAP Education Component, which trains volunteers to assist low-income students and families navigate the complex New York City public high school application process; and
- The New York State Attorney Emeritus Program, an initiative of the New York State Chief Judge which supports civil pro bono by attorneys 55 years and over.

The Feerick Center is also looking for volunteers to participate in an alumni trip through the CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Program in Dilley, Texas from June 26, 2017 to July 1, 2017. Volunteers provide limited-scope legal assistance to asylum-seeking families detained at the South Texas Family Residential Center. No prior immigration experience is required.
