Mark Patterson was interviewed by the Capitol Forum about how antitrust law can be adapted for the information economy.

“[I]n the book, I really am trying to suggest that we should not so much think about how information creates market power in other markets, though that’s the underlying concern, but that we should treat information itself as being provided in a market. And therefore, the use of information not only creates market power in other markets, but information itself constitutes a market in which a provider, an information provider, can have power as well.”
