The March/April issue of Miller-McCune quotes Fordham Law’s Deborah Denno in its article about neuroscience and the law.

Denno explains, “Consciousness is not this all-or-nothing thing. It’s in degrees. Everyone’s pretty much going to agree with that. Nevertheless, the criminal law depicts it as an off-on, all-or-nothing concept. This really distorts the process.”
