Deborah Denno quoted in the Washington Post regarding the three executions that took place in a 24-hour period in June 2014, the first executions in nearly two months, since the botched lethal injection of Clayton Lockett in Oklahoma.
“It seems like Oklahoma has legally thrown everyone through a loop,” said Deborah W. Denno, a professor at Fordham University and an expert on the death penalty. “It seems to make courts take everything with a greater caution.”
