Deborah Denno quoted in a Teletica (Costa Rica) report about Arizona’s brutal execution of double-murderer Joseph Wood, during which he took two hours to die, and the way it will raise the tone of debate about the lethal injection

For her part, Fordham University’s Deborah Denno, an expert on lethal injection, said it was an “unacceptable” performance and “shocking” because it was “entirely predictable and preventable” suffering.
