Fordham Law School has completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as part of a viral video campaign aimed at raising awareness about and donations to combat Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The School was challenged by Georgetown Law and, in turn, challenged Cardozo, St. John’s, and Cornell law schools’ dean of students to participate.
Nitza Milagros Escalera, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, and Stephen Brown, Assistant Dean of Enrollment Services, participated in the challenge on behalf of Fordham Law. A donation was made in their honor to the ALS Association, which sponsored the campaign. Learn more at alsa.org.
