Professor Bruce Green has received recognition for his service in the legal community in the latest edition of The Best Lawyers in America. In the publication’s forthcoming 21st edition, Professor Green is featured for his work in the area of ethics and professional responsibility law. He has also been named the 2014–2015 New York City Ethics and Responsibility Law “Lawyer of the Year.”

“I credit the Law School and the Stein Center, which have supported my professional as well as scholarly activities in the field of legal ethics for more than two decades,” says Green, who serves as Louis Stein Chair of Law and Director of the Stein Center on Law and Ethics.

“Many legal academics make a practical contribution in the field, and it’s gratifying to see this recognized,” he added.

Green’s work with the Stein Center bolsters Fordham Law’s reputation in the field of ethics, and he consistently encourages the School’s public interest–minded students to serve the greater good through volunteer work as well as pro bono legal service.

“I hope that helping lawyers understand and satisfy their ethical obligations not only enhances my teaching and scholarship but serves the profession and the public consistently with Fordham Law School’s commitment to practicing law ‘in the service of others.’”
