Fordham Law students Marcella Jayne ’18 and Sean Murray ’17 have received an Antitrust Law Section Fellowship from the New York Bar Foundation. The fellowship provides law Jayne and Murray with a $6,000 award and the opportunity to experience antitrust practice during the summer.

Jayne will fulfill her fellowship at the New York City office of the Federal Trade Commission.
“Receiving the antitrust fellowship has offered me an invaluable opportunity to evolve my approach to addressing economic injustice,” said Jayne. “I am extremely grateful for the rare opportunity to work on consumer protection and antitrust issues with the Federal Trade Commission through this fellowship and learn about how the law can do more than mitigate harm but affirmatively address economic injustice on a macro level.”

Murray will fulfill his fellowship in the U.S. Department of Justice.

“I am elated to receive this prestigious fellowship from the New York Bar Foundation and look forward to learning from the experienced antitrust attorneys at the Department of Justice Antitrust Division’s New York Field Office,” he said.
