For the second consecutive year, Fordham Law School is hosting a delegation of students enrolled in the Master in International Business Law at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Spain. This program, which runs from May 25–June 5, introduces participants to U.S. Business Law and Practice. Classes include Introduction to the U.S. Legal System, Comparative Corporate Law, International Bribery and Corruption Law, International Arbitration, Cross-Border Antitrust Law, Contract Drafting and Negotiation, Litigation Management for the International Lawyer, and International and Comparative Law. Classes are taught by members of the Fordham Law faculty and leading New York City practitioners.
In addition to classroom instruction, the program also includes visits to legal institutions in New York City, including law firms Chadbourne & Parke, Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, New York State Supreme Court, and Bloomberg.
The program ends with a celebratory dinner at which certificates of completion are distributed.
