    Wrongful Convictions: Lessons Learned

    Earn two free CLE credits (one ethics and one professional practice) while hearing from a diverse panel of experts on the causes, lessons learned, and multiplicity of responses at the local and national levels to the scourge of wrongful convictions. Find out how New York City is tackling the crisis and leading the nation by establishing new safeguards, policies, and procedures.

    On Monday, April 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Fordham Law School, the following speakers will share their day-to-day experiences addressing the problem and implementing solutions in the face of wrongful convictions:

    William Darrow, Bureau Chief of Manhattan DA’s Conviction Integrity Unit
    Mark Hale, Bureau Chief of Brooklyn DA’s Conviction Review Unit
    Robin Lenhardt, Faculty Director, Center on Race, Law and Justice and Professor of Law at Fordham Law School
    Barry Scheck, Co-Director of the Innocence Project
    Earl Ward, Partner at Emery Celli Brinckeroff & Abady and Chair of the Bronx Defenders Board of Directors
    Justice Ethan Greenberg, Bronx Supreme Court
