Fashionistas Are Making Bank Off Their Free Swag

Professor Susan Scafidi was quoted in the New York Post, where she discusses how fashionistas are making a profit by selling the free swag that they collect during Fashion Week.

That’s what happened after the Chanel fall 2014 show, for which the brand erected an entire supermarket in Paris stocked with Chanel-branded laundry detergent and beans, among other products. Afterward, editors and bloggers stormed the set, trying to grab as many items as possible before security kicked them out. Try to make an extra buck out of those lifted objects, says Scafidi, and “you’ll soon be wearing stripes.”
