    LL.M.s in Corporate Compliance

By Newsroom on November 22, 2016 In the News, Public Interest and Service

Alice Brightsky, senior director of compliance programs, was quoted in LLM Guide where she explains why the LL.M. in compliance is in high demand today.

“Compliance is a hot and competitive field. It is getting harder and harder to ‘do’ compliance well for very long without a keen appreciation for the underlying ‘why’ of what’s being done. The standards and the stakes have been raised too high to wing it,” says Brightsky in an email.

According to Brightsky from Fordham, which has now offered its compliance LL.M. for two years, students with a background in corporate law, tax, or finance are naturally drawn towards studying compliance.
