We ask for your assistance in identifying emerging leaders within our alumni community to serve on the FLAA Board.
We are seeking “candidates for the Board from a wide range of backgrounds to reflect the diverse composition of the Law School’s alumni, including from a wide range of class years, geographic areas, and practice areas and from both the JD and the LL.M. programs.” The Nominating Committee is seeking alumni who are passionate about Fordham Law and ready, willing, and able to use their talents and energies to make the FLAA the strongest alumni association of any law school in the nation.
How to make a Nomination:
You are permitted to nominate more than one individual. When making a nomination, we request that you submit a brief nominating statement (no more than 250 words) about your candidate. In addition to the nominating statement, please attach the candidate’s resume, any relevant media coverage on the candidate, or any other information that you believe will illustrate the candidate’s qualifications for service on the FLAA Board. Before submitting a nomination, it is important that you speak with the candidate to confirm his or her interest in serving as an officer or member of the FLAA Board.
