Jury Is Still Out on Trump’s Travel Ban as Challenges to the Executive Order Roll Into Courts

Thomas Lee was quoted in the Daily News about Trump’s executive order regarding immigrants and refugees.

Thomas Lee, a constitutional law professor from Fordham School of Law, said in general, these refugees — even those who are already well along in the process of applying for asylum — will have a difficult time winning relief from the courts.

“People not in U.S. in refugee application, I think they have essentially no constitutional claims,” he said. “For the people outside looking in, it’s going to be very difficult making constitutional arguments.”
