Tomato pickers win higher pay. Can other workers use their strategy?

James Brudney spoke with the Christian Science Monitor about tomato pickers’ successful labor organizing efforts, and how their model might apply to the wider agricultural industry.

“The way in which they’ve handled these two large problems is remarkable,” says James Brudney, an expert in labor law at Fordham University in New York. “There’s no reason this model can’t work across the United States.”
