Professor Jed Shugerman spoke with Long Island Business News about attorney generals from Maryland and Washington, D.C., filing suit against President Donald Trump.
“The Supreme Court says states have a ‘special solicitude’ in the federal system beyond economic harm to a company,” Jed Shugerman, a professor of law at Fordham University School of Law, said. “This case with the attorneys general is the strongest in terms of standing, because of the status of the states.”
