    Fordham Law mourns passing of Professor Emeritus Earl Phillips

    Fordham Law Professor Emeritus E. Earl Phillips passed away on Sunday, October 29.

    Phillips joined the faculty in 1960 and taught property and family law. He also wrote extensively on federal regulation of consumer credit and published a monthly newsletter, “The Truth in Lending Compliance Report.” He was recognized with Fordham’s Bene Merenti Medal for his dedicated service to the university and law school. His full obituary is available on Legacy.com.

    The family will receive visitors on Thursday, November 2, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home, which is located at 767 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 3, at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Holy Family, which is located at 83 Clove Road in New Rochelle. Interment will follow at the Kensico Cemetery, which is located at 273 Lakeview Avenue in Valhalla.
