    Michael Chalos ’75 was awarded the Fort Schuyler Maritime Alumni Association (FSMAA) Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award. The FSMAA is the alumni association of SUNY Maritime College, from which Michael graduated in 1970.

    Gary A. Grasso ’78 is running in the March 20 Republican primary for Illinois attorney general.

    Seth J. Finkel ’84 has placed #6 for top advisor rankings in New York on Barron’s “Top 1200 Financial Advisors” list.

    Thomas J. Curran ’89 has been named vice chairman of the board of Prisoner Legal Services of New York.

    James Maloney ’95 was awarded the Fort Schuyler Maritime Alumni Association (FSMAA) Dedicated Service Award. The FSMAA is the alumni association of SUNY Maritime College, from which Jim graduated in 1980.

    Jennifer A. Spiegel ’96 has been elected partner at Sidley Austin.

    Seth DuCharme ’03 has been appointed chief of the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

    Caroline Self ’04 is running for Alabama State Senate District 1.

    Anna Mercado Clark ’05 has been elected partner at Phillips Lytle LLP.

    Joseph E. Fox ’06 has been elected partner at Fried Frank.

    Juan C. Stolberg ’06 launched a high-tech startup in Puerto Rico called Piloto 151. This is Puerto Rico’s first co-working space and growth platform for entrepreneurs.

    Guillaume Cavalin ’07 has been appointed legal director at the European private equity firm Idinvest Partners.

    Ariel Zell ’07 has been elected partner at Fried Frank.

    Todd J. McMullan ’08 has been elected partner at Fried Frank.

    Miguel A. Nieves ’08 has been awarded the Hispanic National Bar Association’s “HNBA Top Lawyers Under 40” award.

    Noreen Phelan ’08 has been promoted partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP.

    Vianny M. Pichardo ’08 was awarded the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) “Top Lawyers Under 40” Award.

    Vanessa A. Nadal ’10 and spouse Lin Manuel Miranda have welcomed a son, Francisco.

    Richard Saenz ’10 was awarded the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) “Top Lawyers Under 40” Award.

    Christie L. Houlihan ’11 has joined the board of directors of the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation, which provides after-school, weekend, and summer tutoring, sports, and arts education to over 25,000 children in New York City and Westchester county public schools.

    Kaitlyn Crowe ’12 and William A. Crowe ’13 welcomed a daughter, Charlotte Nancy Crowe, in September 2017.

    Severine Losembe ’15 and Timothy Matthew Hackett were married on February 3, 2018, in New York City.

    Isaac Graff ’16 has joined A.Y. Strauss as an associate.
