Adjunct Professor Matt Gold appeared on Pacifica Radio where he discussed President Donald Trump’s decision to implement steep tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.
President Trump is being advised by only three people to do this – the Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross who made a fortune in the steel industry, the US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer who practiced law for more than 35 years representing among other steel and aluminium companies and probably expects to go back to the same clients after he leaves office. I think they both have conflicts of interest.
