Fordham Law alumnus James Gatta ’02, former chief of the Criminal Division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, has rejoined Goodwin, a global 50 law firm, as partner.

“I am very excited to return to Goodwin and its premier government and regulatory investigations and white collar defense practices,” said Gatta. “After the privilege of serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York for the past decade, it is an honor to be part of a firm that not only delivers industry-leading service to clients in the most sensitive and significant matters, but also places a premium on collegiality and public service.”

Gatta received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from Fordham College and is admitted to practice in New York.
