The twelfth annual Fordham Law Summer Institute in New York City is taking place from July 2–20. This year’s program includes 65 participants from 15 countries around the globe.

The Summer Institute begins with an introduction to the U.S. legal system and offers a survey of the areas of law most important for global attorneys in the 21st century—from international arbitration to intellectual property and information technology law to corporations and mergers and acquisitions. The program also offers Legal English seminars and special sessions on applying to and preparing for U.S. LL.M. programs. Also included are a visit to the United States Bankruptcy Court, a tour of the United Nations, and a briefing at the multinational law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. The program ends with a celebratory luncheon at which certificates of completion are awarded to program participants.
