Founded in 1995, the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center recently held its biannual trial advocacy competition. Over the course of five days in July, 68 competitors participated in 17 simulated trials, mentored by 21 faculty from Fordham Law as well as 24 faculty instructors from outside Fordham. Adam Shlahet ’02, director of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center, led this year’s program with June Witterschein of the New York City Law Department. The Moore Advocacy Center has trained new litigators from the city’s Law Department since the center’s inception.
