The Office of International and Non-J.D. programs at Fordham Law School is delighted to announce that the fourth Winter Institute in New York City is taking place January 3–10, 2019.

The Winter Institute, which is open to students and graduates of law schools outside the United States, offers an intensive introduction to the U.S. legal system and the opportunity to study side by side with the Law School’s incoming master’s students.

Optional sessions include preparing the U.S.-style cover letter and resume and applying to U.S. LL.M. programs.  Participants will also enjoy an opening luncheon.

Assistant Dean Toni Jaeger-Fine, a director of the Winter Institute, said that the Law School “is thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to lawyers from around the world to convene at our Manhattan campus and learn alongside our LL.M. and M.S.L. students. This is the perfect introduction to our legal system and to our Law School. ”

This year’s participants come from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Hong Kong, Israel, Kenya, and the Philippines.  For additional information, visit the Winter Institute webpage.
