A team of two students from Fordham’s Fundamental Lawyering Skills program recently participated in the Regional ABA Negotiation Competition in Philadelphia. Led by faculty supervisor Professor Beth Schwartz, law students Matthew Ioannou and Alessandra Dagirmanjian competed in scenarios related to the professional obligations of lawyers. Last year was the first ABA Negotiation Competition that Fordham Law entered and also hosted. The competition’s format involves teams negotiating on behalf of simulated clients to either resolve a dispute or reach a possible negotiated agreement.
