Fordham Law Alumnus, Franklin Mitchell ’09, was named partner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. Located in the firm’s New York office, Michell is a member of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group.
His practice focuses on a broad range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings, and on the design, negotiation and implementation of employment agreements and equity-based incentive and other compensation programs for public and private companies, financial sponsors, management groups and individual executives. He also regularly advises financial services clients and investment funds on the fiduciary responsibility provisions of ERISA with respect to the investment of pension plan assets, including VCOC, REOC and other plan assets issues.
