Special Broadcast: House of Representatives Debates Articles of Impeachment, Ahead of Historic Vote

Professor Karen Greenberg, director of the center on national security, was interviewed in a special broadcast during the vote on the articles of impeachment against President Trump on 94.1 KPFA.

There’s not that much that’s unexpected. We are hearing the same thing over and over again. I think the most frustrating part about what we’re hearing, we’ve heard it in the past as well, is Republicans saying “there wasn’t enough time” [and]“evidence wasn’t presented that could have been presented” when in fact the reason the evidence, witnesses, and documents weren’t presented was that the White House and Donald Trump blocked them from being presented.
