The prosecution wants the jury to inhabit the perspective of the victims. They want to show that these women walked into these hotel rooms expecting a business meeting and instead were pounced upon and that this all part of this culture of power and intimidation. This culminated in threats against them for their physical safety. They are trying to show how this power imbalance actually fed into this forcible compulsion.
