    Kristen Browde ’00 was elected as board president of LeGal, The LGBT Bar of New York. She is also running for New York State Assembly in Westchester’s 93rd Assembly District.

    Benson V. Martin ’00 is now special counsel for ethics, risk and compliance for the New York State Department of Financial Services.

    Adam Masin ’00 joined Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as partner in the Hartford, C.T. office.

    Howard Klein ’01 joined Dechert LLP as partner in the New York, N.Y. office.

    Matthew Higgins ’02 was named an executive fellow of Harvard Business School.

    Lauren Emerson ’07 was elevated to partner at Leason Ellis LLP in the White Plains, N.Y. office.

    Judy Mok ’07 was named a fellow of Ballard Spahr LLP’s Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.

    Kimberly Gold ’08 co-founded Reed Smith LLP’s Mental Health Task Force and is serving as the inaugural chair. She was also named a Law360 Rising Star.

    Christopher DeGennaro ’15 joined Foley & Lardner LLP as an associate in the New York, N.Y. office.

    Thomas M. Callahan ’16 joined Clifford Chance as an associate in the New York, N.Y. office.

    Pekham Pal ’16 joined the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York as a law clerk for Judge Vincent L. Briccetti in White Plains, N.Y.

    Kathy Walter ’17 welcomed a new baby girl, Francesca Viola.
