    Professor Kimani Paul-Emile Nominated to National Academies Committee

    Professor Kimani Paul-Emile, associate director and head of Domestic Programs and Initiatives at the Center on Race, Law & Justice and faculty co-director of the Stein Center for Law & Ethics, has been nominated to serve on the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Committee on Science, Technology, and Law.

    According to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, members are “chosen for their knowledge and expertise and who represent a wide range of organizations including federal courts, the legal community, industry, academia, and government.” Further, the committee, which includes Nobel Prize winners, is charged with “bring[ing] together the science and engineering community and the legal community to explore pressing issues, improve communication and help resolve issues between the two communities.”
