Fordham’s fifth annual Giving Day—the University’s annual celebration of philanthropy, which aims to secure as many donors as possible within one day—launches today at noon. The campaign will continue for two days, ending on Tuesday, March 2, at 7:00 p.m.
Over the past four years, the Law School has raised more than $630,000 from 1,899 donors and unlocked $205,000 in matching challenge gifts. This year, a number of donors have again offered to match gifts made during Giving Day. Notably, Andrew Albstein, LAW ’81, LAW PAR ’21 and Carolyn Albstein, GABELLI ’82, LAW PAR ’21, will make a gift of $100,000 to the Law School if 250 donors participate on Giving Day.
