Fordham Law School was ranked number 37 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report in their latest annual rankings of the country’s best law schools.

The Law School’s part-time program was ranked third in the nation, and ten of Fordham Law’s specialty programs ranked in the top 30, including trial advocacy (7). The school broke into the top 30 in Tax Law for the first time. Fordham Law is among just 13 schools that have 10 or more programs in the top 30 in the U.S. News specialty rankings.

    • Trial Advocacy (7)
    • Dispute Resolution (13)
    • Clinical Training (17)
    • Business-Corporate Law (18)
    • Criminal Law (18)
    • Contracts-Commercial Law (20)
    • International Law (21)
    • Intellectual Property Law (25)
    • Tax Law (28)
    • Constitutional Law (30)

Looking beyond the U.S. News rankings, National Law Journal recently ranked Fordham Law 19 on its list of “go-to” law schools for the top 100 law firms and sixth based on the number of alumni promoted from associates to partners, which reflects the strong outcomes for many Fordham Law graduates. Additionally, an influential study of law school scholars found Fordham’s faculty to be among the top 25 in the nation in terms of scholarly impact.
