Fordham Law’s annual Student Excellence Awards ceremony took place on September 28. The event celebrates students with the highest grade point averages in their class years, as well as students who have excelled in oral advocacy and legal writing. This year’s ceremony was the first in-person version of the event since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“All of you here today have excelled, you’ve brought great life to our classrooms,” said Dean Matthew Diller in his welcome to students and their families. “We have a complicated world out there today and you are all going to go out there and make a difference … And we will take great pride and joy in your accomplishments every single step of the way.”
