Every year, members of the Fordham Law community come together on Giving Day to pledge their philanthropic support for the Law School. This year’s 24-hour fundraising marathon will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Over the past seven years, more than 2,900 members of the Fordham Law community have participated in Giving Day, raising more than $1.3 million and unlocking more than $368,000 in matching challenge funds.

For this year’s Giving Day, David A. Javdan LAW ’93, managing director with Alvarez & Marsal, has pledged to match up to $50,000 in gifts made to Fordham Law School.

“I am excited to be part of Giving Day. The incredible network of Fordham lawyers is brought together each year and encouraged to give back to the school that has given us so much. As an immigrant to the U.S., Fordham helped give me entry to the highest corridors of power. I give back to make sure Fordham Law students have every opportunity as they set out on their own paths—I hope [others]will join me.” – David A. Javdan LAW ’93
