Fordham Law Professor Aaron Saiger authored an op-ed for the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law’s State Court Report, arguing that, while the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled a publicly funded religious charter school would violate the state constitution and the First Amendment, fights over public money for religious charters are just beginning. This piece builds on Saiger’s earlier post that explored public attitudes toward school funding, including some of the issues presented in the Oklahoma case.
